Microblading in Pakistan
The Art of the Natural Stroke
Wake up every morning with perfectly shaped, natural-looking eyebrows — no pencils, no powders, no ten-minute battles with a mirror. Microblading at Getlashed is a semi-permanent brow treatment performed by master SPMU artist Sahar at our studio in DHA Phase 2, Lahore, designed for women who want fuller, symmetrical brows that still look completely their own.
The Procedure
Microblading is the modern architecture of the eyebrow. Unlike a traditional tattoo, which uses a machine to implant ink deep into the skin, microblading uses a precise handheld tool fitted with ultra-fine needles to manually etch delicate, hair-like strokes into the surface layer of the skin. Each stroke is drawn individually, following the natural direction and growth pattern of your own brow hair, so the finished result blends seamlessly into your existing brows and is virtually indistinguishable from the real thing.
Because this is manual artistry, no electric device is used — only the steady, trained hand of a specialist focused on precision, pigment depth, and perfect facial symmetry. Before a single stroke is made, Sahar maps your brows against your bone structure using the golden-ratio measurement method, marking the ideal start point, arch, and tail for your face shape. The shape is drawn on, refined, and approved by you before any pigment touches the skin.
A numbing cream is applied throughout the session, so most clients describe the sensation as light scratching rather than pain. A full appointment at our Lahore studio takes around 1 hour, which includes consultation, brow mapping, pigment matching to your skin undertone and hair colour, and the microblading itself.
The Healing Journey
It is important to understand the transition your new brows go through. Healed microblading looks nothing like day-one microblading — and that is by design.
- Days 1–3: Your brows will appear darker, bolder, and more defined than the final result. This is completely normal — the pigment sits on the surface before the skin begins to heal over it.
- Days 4–10: Light flaking and scabbing begins. The colour may look patchy or seem to disappear in places. Do not pick or scratch — the pigment is settling underneath.
- Weeks 2–4: The pigment softens and re-emerges as the skin regenerates, revealing the true healed shade — typically 30–40% lighter than the day of your session.
- Week 6 (Touch-Up): A perfecting session refines any strokes that healed lighter and locks in your final result. This touch-up is an essential part of the treatment, not an optional extra.
- The Healed Result: Once the skin has fully recovered, the pigment settles into subtle, crisp, stroke-effect brows that look effortless and natural — fuller definition without a "drawn-on" appearance.
Is Microblading Right for You?
Microblading is a transformative treatment, but skin type plays a vital role in how long the results last and how crisp the strokes remain:
- Normal to Dry Skin: This skin type sees the best results. The fine hair strokes stay sharp, and pigment typically lasts beautifully for 12–18 months before a colour top-up is needed.
- Combination Skin / Oily T-Zones: Natural oils can soften the pigment slightly faster. Strokes may heal with a softer edge, and a refresh session is usually needed closer to the 12-month mark.
- Very Oily Skin: If your skin is very oily, hair strokes may blur as they heal. In this case, Sahar will often recommend Combo Brows or Ombre Powder Brows instead — techniques specifically suited to oil-prone skin.
Microblading is ideal if you have sparse, over-plucked, or uneven brows, gaps from scarring or hair loss, or simply want to cut brow makeup out of your daily routine. It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, if you are on blood-thinning medication or Accutane, or if you have active skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis) in the brow area. If you're unsure, book a free consultation and we'll assess your skin honestly — including telling you if a different treatment will serve you better.
Microblading vs. Other Brow Techniques
Not sure which brow treatment is right for you? Here's how microblading compares to the other semi-permanent options we offer at Getlashed:
| Feature | Microblading | Ombre Powder Brows | Combo Brows |
|---|---|---|---|
| Finish | Crisp, hair-like strokes | Soft, powdered makeup effect | Strokes at the front, shading through the body |
| Best For | Normal to dry skin | Oily or mature skin | Most skin types |
| Look | Most natural, "born with it" | Defined, filled-in look | Natural front, defined arch |
| Longevity | 12–18 months | 18–24 months | 15–24 months |
Aftercare: Protecting Your Investment
How you care for your brows in the first ten days determines how beautifully they heal. Follow these simple rules:
- Cleanse gently, then keep them dry: For the first 2 days, gently wipe your brows with clean water and a cotton pad to remove lymph fluid. From day 3 to day 7, keep them completely dry — no swimming, saunas, steam rooms, or letting the shower stream hit your face directly.
- No picking: Let flakes fall away naturally. Picking pulls pigment out with the scab.
- Skip makeup and actives: Keep foundation, brow products, retinol, and exfoliating acids away from the treated area until fully healed.
- Apply your aftercare balm: Use only the healing balm provided at your appointment, exactly as directed.
- Protect from sun: Once healed, daily SPF over your brows keeps the pigment from fading prematurely — especially important in Lahore's strong sun.
Why Choose Getlashed for Microblading in Lahore?
At Getlashed, every microblading treatment is performed personally by Sahar - a certified SPMU artist trained in internationally recognised hand-stroke techniques — never delegated to a junior or trainee. We use sterile, single-use blades and needles for every client, medical-grade pigments matched to South Asian skin tones and undertones, and a fully hygienic studio environment in DHA Phase 2.
Just as importantly, we believe in honest consultations. If your skin type, medication, or brow goals mean microblading isn't the right fit, we'll tell you — and recommend the treatment that is. That's why clients travel from across Lahore, Gulberg, Bahria Town, and beyond for their brows, and why so many of our new clients come from word-of-mouth referrals.
Sahar's Tip
“We believe in starting subtle. Microblading is about enhancing your frame, not overpowering it. We design your 'brow architecture' to match your unique facial bone structure and skin tone for a result that is timeless.
— SAHAR, FOUNDER & MASTER SPMU ARTISTFrequently Asked Questions
Does microblading hurt?
Most clients rate the discomfort at 2–3 out of 10. A topical numbing cream is applied before and during the session, so you'll feel light pressure or scratching rather than pain. Many clients are relaxed enough to chat throughout.
How long does microblading last?
Results typically last 12–18 months depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and sun exposure. Dry skin holds pigment the longest, while oily skin may need a refresh closer to 12 months. An annual colour boost keeps your brows looking freshly done.
How much does microblading cost in Lahore?
Pricing depends on the complexity of your brow correction and is confirmed at your consultation. Your quote at Getlashed includes the brow mapping session, the full microblading treatment, your aftercare balm, and the 6-week perfecting touch-up — with no hidden add-ons.
Can I get microblading over an old brow tattoo?
It depends on how saturated and what colour the old pigment is. Bring clear photos or visit us for an in-person assessment — in some cases we can work over faded work, while heavily saturated tattoos may need lightening first or suit ombre powder brows better.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
Avoid caffeine, aspirin, and blood-thinning supplements for 24 hours before your session, skip retinol and exfoliants on the brow area for one week, and don't tweeze, thread, or wax your brows for at least three days beforehand — we need to see your natural growth to design your best shape.
Is microblading safe?
Yes — when performed by a trained, certified artist in a sterile environment. At Getlashed we use sealed, single-use blades opened in front of you, hospital-grade disinfection, and premium pigments that fade true to tone rather than turning red or grey.
Getlashed is Lahore’s premier SPMU studio and botanical beauty apothecary. Expert microblading, ombre powder brows, and lash treatments by master artist Sahar, alongside a professional-grade range of lash and brow care products.
