Combo Brows in Pakistan

The Ultimate Hybrid Design

Can't decide between the realistic hair strokes of microblading and the soft density of powder shading? You don't have to. Combo Brows at Getlashed give you both in a single treatment — hand-etched strokes where your brows need texture, delicate shading where they need fullness. Performed by master SPMU artist Sahar at our DHA Phase 2 studio in Pakistan, it's the most versatile and most requested brow treatment we offer.

The Procedure

As the name suggests, Combo Brows (also known as Hybrid Brows) are the perfect marriage of the two most sought-after techniques: Microblading and Shading. By combining these methods, Sahar creates a multidimensional look that offers the realistic detail of individual hair strokes with the soft, supportive depth of a powder finish.

Your appointment begins with a consultation and precise brow mapping, where your ideal shape is measured against your facial bone structure and approved by you before any work begins. Sahar then hand-etches fine hair strokes at the front and edges of the brow to mimic natural growth, before transitioning into a delicate shading technique through the body and tail to add density and definition. The full session takes around 2.5 to 3 hours, including numbing time — slightly longer than a single-technique treatment, because you're receiving two.

This "best of both worlds" approach allows us to design a brow that is incredibly natural yet retains a polished, "hint-of-makeup" effect.

The Art of the Hybrid

This layered technique is ideal for:

  • Filling Sparse Areas: If you have significant gaps in your natural hair, the shading provides a soft "shadow" that masks empty spaces far more effectively than strokes alone ever could.
  • Enhanced Longevity: The added shading helps the pigment stay visible for longer — typically 15–24 months — making combo brows more durable than pure microblading across most skin types.
  • Customised Texture: Sahar adjusts the ratio of strokes to shading based on your unique facial structure, hair density, and skin type, ensuring the result is never "one size fits all."
  • Correcting Old Work: The hybrid method is excellent for refreshing faded microblading — new strokes restore texture while shading evens out any residual old pigment.

Why Choose Combo Brows?

Combo Brows are the preferred choice for clients who love the look of microblading but feel they need a bit more definition and density. Because the shading sits behind the strokes, the brow reads as full and dimensional from every angle — in person, in photos, and in bright light — while the stroke work at the front keeps the overall effect natural rather than "drawn on."

It's also the most forgiving technique across skin types. Where pure microblading can blur on oily skin, the shading in a combo brow carries the definition, and Sahar simply weights the technique toward shading for oilier complexions. If your skin is very oily, she may recommend full Ombre Powder Brows instead — the consultation determines exactly what will heal best on you.

The Healing Journey

  • Days 1–3: Brows appear darker and bolder than the final result. Both the strokes and shading are at their most saturated — this softens dramatically.
  • Days 4–10: Flaking begins. Colour may look patchy or faded in places. Resist the urge to pick — the pigment is settling beneath the surface.
  • Weeks 2–4: The healed result emerges: crisp strokes over a soft powder base, around 30–40% lighter than day one.
  • Touch-Up (6–8 Weeks): The perfecting session refines strokes, balances shading density, and completes your final look.

Aftercare Essentials

  • Keep them dry: Avoid soaking the brow area for 7–10 days — no swimming, saunas, or direct shower spray.
  • No picking: Let flakes fall away naturally; picking pulls out pigment with the scab.
  • Pause makeup and actives: No foundation, brow products, retinol, or exfoliating acids on the area until healed.
  • Balm only: Use the aftercare balm provided at your appointment, exactly as directed.
  • SPF after healing: Daily sun protection preserves both the strokes and the shading from premature fading.

Why Choose Getlashed for Combo Brows in Pakistan?

Combo brows demand mastery of two techniques in a single sitting — precise stroke work and controlled shading — which makes artist skill the single biggest factor in your result. At Getlashed, every treatment is performed personally by Sahar, a certified SPMU artist, using sterile single-use tools and pigments blended for South Asian skin tones. Add an honest consultation culture — if a different technique will heal better on your skin, Sahar says so — and it's why clients travel to our DHA Phase 2 studio from every corner of Pakistan.

Sahar's Tip

I often recommend Combo Brows to my clients who want that beautiful, fine-art stroke detail but have naturally thin hair. The shading provides the structural support the brow needs to look dense and healthy without losing its natural charm.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are combo brows exactly?

Combo brows — also called hybrid brows — combine two techniques in one treatment: fine microblading hair strokes at the front and edges of the brow for realistic texture, and soft powder shading through the body and tail for density and definition. The result is fuller than microblading alone and more natural than full powder brows.

How long do combo brows last?

Combo brows typically last 15–24 months. The powder shading component holds pigment longer than strokes alone, which is why combo brows generally outlast pure microblading. An annual colour refresh keeps them looking their best.

Are combo brows suitable for oily skin?

Yes — combo brows are one of the most versatile options. On oilier skin, Sahar adjusts the ratio toward more shading and fewer strokes, since shading holds better on oily skin. In cases of very oily skin, full ombre powder brows may be recommended instead.

Do combo brows hurt more than microblading?

No — the discomfort level is similar. Numbing cream is applied before and topped up during the session, and most clients rate it a 2–3 out of 10. The session takes slightly longer than microblading alone because two techniques are performed.

How much do combo brows cost in Pakistan?

Pricing is confirmed at your consultation based on your brow condition and whether correction of old work is needed. Your quote at Getlashed covers brow mapping, the full hybrid treatment, aftercare guidance, and the perfecting touch-up session.

How do I choose between combo brows, microblading, and powder brows?

As a rule of thumb: microblading suits normal-to-dry skin with reasonable natural hair; powder brows suit oily skin or those wanting a makeup finish; combo brows suit sparse or thin brows needing both texture and density. Your consultation with Sahar settles it definitively — she assesses your skin and hair before recommending.
